NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD released surveillance video of an SUV on Sunday in connection with a drive-by shooting in Brooklyn that left a woman dead earlier this month.
Police said they were searching for the silver, four-door SUV that was last seen traveling northbound on Howard Avenue in Brownsville.

Shalimar Birkett, 32, was attending an outdoor vigil for a shooting victim in the neighborhood on the night of May 17 when she was shot in the head in a drive-by shooting, according to police.
Responding officers found Birkett lying in the street on Park Place, near Howard Avenue. She was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.
Birkett had been attending a vigil for Miles Bobbsemple, a 31-year-old man who was killed in another shooting earlier in the day.
No arrests have been reported.
