The Georgia Bulldogs will be tested early in their Week 1 match-up against the Clemson Tigers on September 4.
There are a lot of questions surrounding Georgia's offensive line now that it's uncertain whether starting center Warren Ericson will be able to suit up in that game. He's expected to miss a few weeks of practice with a hand injury.
Radi Nabulsi, publisher of UGASports.com, joined the Midday Show, to discuss his concerns with the Bulldogs' offensive line going up a very good Clemson defensive line in an important game to start the season.
"My confidence is Week 2. I do have zero confidence in Week 1," Nabulsi told Andy and Randy.
"That Clemson defense is filthy, and they're going to--when you look at (Tigers DE) Myles Murphy over there and (Tigers DT Bryan) Bresee and you say 'okay, so the freshman got in. I wonder if he's seen this move and then (they) just attack them)."
Jamaree Salyer, if he's out at left tackle, I have a lot more confidence. If he's inside, I feel very comfortable in the interior but I don't feel as comfortable on J.T Daniels' blindside. Wherever he goes, is where my confidence is."
Nabulsi said his confidence isn't with the interior part of offensive line, but on the outside.
"I'm really worried about the edges because that means you have an Xavier Truss or a Broderick Jones or a Amarius Mims, some of these guys playing their first football games, and that just makes me nervous against that Clemson defense who's just really, really good."
