Why Ohio State is in a similar position that Georgia was last year heading into CFB Playoff

On Tuesday Andy & Randy were joined by DawgNationDaily Host Brandon Adams who explained why the Ohio State Buckeyes are an in a similar position heading into the CFB Playoff this year as Georgia was last year.

“Obviously looking forward to the game (Peach Bowl Semifinal between Ohio State & Georgia) counting down. Randy was saying it feels like the gap between the SEC Championship game last year and the College Football Playoff didn’t take as long…I don’t know if you feel like this year is there more days on the calendar or something like that? Is it leap year? Does it feel longer to you this year than it did last year?” Andy asked Adams.

“The period before this game does feel like it’s going a little bit slow and I would say the kind of opposite build up to maybe last year where it’s kind of Ohio State whose in the Georgia role you know they lost their most recent game. And I’m not quite so sure how every Buckeyes fan you know feels necessarily about their team here at the moment. I’m not quite so sure they know how to feel about their team. Not only is the buildup maybe a little slower, it’s also kind of one of those things where the feeling is the exact opposite as it was a year ago where it was Georgia that had the pressure.
Now it’s probably Ohio State that kind of comes in reeling because they were the one who lost their most recent game.” Adams replied.

Georgia and Ohio State square off in The Peach Bowl at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Saturday December 31st at 8pm.

You can hear Andy & Randy Monday-Friday from 11a-2p on 92.9 The Game.
