PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) According to a league source, the Pittsburgh Steelers are making new cuts prior to the start of the regular season.
The latest cut according to Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network, is Henry Mondeaux.
The defensive tackle played in 15 games last season with the Steelers and combined for 16 tackles and a pair of sacks.
During the 2020 season, Mondeaux appeared in 11 games and only collected five combined tackles.
The cuts continued as center Ryan McCollum was also cut by the Steelers.
McCollum was claimed off of the Detroit Lions a few weeks ago.
The Steelers have to shrink the roster down to the final 53-man list and more cuts are expected to be made.
John Leglue was the first name to be cut prior to the recent reports.
