
WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Officials in Waterbury say two staffers at Crosby High School have injuries following a physical altercation between four students.
The two staff members were "unfortunately injured," according to a written release. They had intervened in an attempt to appease the situation that happened during dismissal on Wednesday.

"Safety is our top priority amongst our students and staff and we do not condone violent behavior," according to a city spokeswoman.
The district says it has taken appropriate measures to deal with the situation per the student code of conduct.
