The No. 25 San Diego State Aztecs won a close road game on Wednesday evening, beating the Utah State Aggies 63-61 in Logan, Utah.
With the victory, the Aztecs improved to 10-2 in Mountain West Conference play and 19-5 overall. San Diego State remains in sole possession of first place in the conference standings.
Matt Bradley led the Aztecs with 18 points, going 7-for-10 from the floor with a pair of three-pointers. Jaedon LeDee collected a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Micah Parrish finished with 12 points.
The Aztecs had a 44-28 lead at halftime, but Utah State outscored San Diego State 33-19 in the second half. The Aztecs held on for the victory despite not making a field goal in the final 5:40 of the game. Steven Ashworth finished with a team-high 18 points for Utah State.
San Diego State hosts UNLV on Saturday afternoon at Viejas Arena. Opening tip is at 1 p.m.
