The Padres announced on Friday that they have re-instated Yu Darvish from the Restricted List, and placed him on the 15-day IL. Darvish has been away from the team for personal reasons, and last pitched on May 29th. The Padres have designated Matthew Batten for assignment to make room for Darvish on the team's roster.
