A Clemson resident was arrested and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor 2nd Degree.
A press release from Clemson Chief of Police Jimmy Dixon confirmed that 21-year-old Roger Thomas Wilson engaged in a sexual relationship with a minor who was just 12 years old. The relationship reportedly began when they met at a summer camp in 2018. The relationship lasted until March of 2019.
The arrest stems from a tip Clemson police received from a school resource officer, who told of possible criminal sexual conduct involving the minor.
Wilson was reportedly a worker at the camp where he met the child, employed by the Clemson University Parks, Recreation and Tourism Managements Outdoor Laboratory.
He is being held at the Clemson city jail.
