Following a major drug bust, the last wanted man has turned himself in.
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has announced that Trenton Michael Thomas has surrendered himself to the county’s detention center.
This occurred Monday afternoon at around 3 pm, acording to a statement from the sheriff's office.
Thomas was wanted after an investigation that took two and a half years resulted in eight people being arrested under suspicion of trafficking 61 kilos of cocaine to the Upstate.
The bust was code-named “The Promoter,” as many of the defendants reportedly had been working as promoters in the local music industry.
Thomas was the last suspect wanted in the investigation and is facing charges of conspiracy to traffic cocaine greater than 400 grams, plus distribution of crack and marijuana.
