Is your ID Real yet?
Starting October 1st, 2020, all South Carolina residents must posses a REAL ID.
According to the SC DMV website, a REAL I-D will be your Drivers License or Identification card and will be authenticated with a gold star near the top right hand corner.
A REAL ID will also be needed to fly within the United States according to Homeland Security, it does not replace a passport to fly internationally.
