A house fire in Spartanburg Tuesday left one dead.
Firefighters were called to the Apalache Street house fire and informed that one person may be trapped in a back bedroom.
The entrapped person passed away, but one individual did make it out safely.
The death and cause of the fire are both under investigation.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
