UPDATE: Two people wanted by the Easley Police Department are now in custody.  Events unfolded Tuesday when Deputies were informed of a stolen black Toyota Tacoma pickup truck spotted at a Seneca Walmart driven by 39 year old Shannon Marie Tracey and 41 year old John Paul Woodard heading toward Westminster.

Westminster Police Dept. was then notified.

The truck was later found unoccupied, still running off Rat Farm Road.

According to Master Deputy Jimmy Watt, an Investigator confirmed Tracey and Woodard were taken into custody without incident around 8:00pm Tuesday night and turned over to the Easley Police Department.

(Walhalla, SC)---- The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is issuing an advisory to our citizens regarding a man and a woman who were seen in Oconee County earlier today and are wanted by the Easley Police Department.

Deputies were informed earlier this morning that a black Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, that was reported stolen, was at the Walmart location on Sandifer Boulevard near Seneca.  Deputies then learned that the vehicle in question was heading towards the city of Westminster, upon which the Westminster Police Department was notified.  The vehicle then made its way from Clearmont Road to Mountain Road and then down a gravel road called Rat Farm Road, where the vehicle rammed through a cable barrier.

Deputies were never in pursuit of the vehicle and the vehicle location information was provided through tips that deputies received.  The truck was located by deputies in a ditch and was still running.  The occupants of the vehicle, 39 year old Shannon Marie Tracey and 41 year old John Paul Woodard, both of Central, SC, had left the scene when deputies located the vehicle.

Deputies were unable to locate both subjects and the Easley Police Department was notified.  Easley PD does have outstanding warrants on both subjects.
