Admitted fraudster from WNC sentenced to less than 18 months

An admitted fraudster from Western North Carolina will spend less than a year and a half in prison. Court records show that 30 year old, Trevor Lee Gosnell admitted to a list of financial crimes and breaking and entering.

The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office arrested Gosnell in March of last year after a nearly year long investigation. He entered guilty pleas on multiple counts of breaking and entering, identity theft and financial card fraud.

Gosnell will serve between 4 and 14 months in the North Carolina State Prison System.
