A suspect is now in custody after a standoff with deputies in Spartanburg County, Thursday. The Sheriff's Office responded to a home in Landrum yesterday morning to serve a warrant on a suspect, Justin Morris.
When deputies arrived, Morris reportedly threatened to harm himself. Morris then fled into the woods, and a search with K-9 units then ensued. Schools in Landrum were placed on lockdown during the search.
Morris was located in the woods off of Clearwater Road around 4PM and was taken into custody.
