Two people were arrested after a baby was removed from an Upstate home that contained dead animals. The Honea Path Police Department responded Monday to a home on Shirley Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found an 8 month old infant along with numerous animals including raccoons, rabbits, chickens, dogs and cats. More than 40 animals were rescued from the site. Police say, there was a dead goat inside a bathtub at the home.
The suspects, Kayla Renard and Nicholas Michael Foley, were then arrested on charges of unlawful conduct towards a child and ill treatment of animals.
