As crowds mourn in Chicago, the family of Reverend Jesse Jackson will bring the civil rights leader home to South Carolina ahead of his final resting place.

Jackson will lie in repose at the Rainbow Coalition headquarters for two days before traveling to Columbia. He will then lie in state at the South Carolina Statehouse on Monday, March 2nd.

Governor Henry McMaster has ordered that flags atop the Statehouse will be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset to honor his legacy.

Jackson died last week after a battle with a rare neurological disorder. He was 84 years old.
