The Red Cross is helping families chased from their homes by the four-alarm fire that damaged a dozen units of The Grove apartment complex in Spartanburg Monday night.
All the residents got out safely, but a firefighter was hurt when a section of the roof collapsed.
Units from four fire departments converged on the complex off Highway 29.
No word on the cause of the fire yet.
