This week is marked as Data Privacy week, and the SC Department of Consumer Affairs is offering some tips to help protect user privacy.
They say before using an app, read the fine print, that means the privacy and data sharing policy. Another strong suggestion, don't sign into apps with your social media account. And lastly, delete apps not used.
