A joint operation between local and federal law enforcement has led to a major drug bust in the Upstate. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says they worked with the DEA in an investigation into a major drug trafficker.
In late June, Deputies and DEA Agents executed a search warrant at a home on Knowlandwood Circle in Anderson. The search uncovered over 75 kilos of cocaine worth millions of dollars and multiple guns.
The suspect, 46 year old Mayo Levord Pickens, is facing federal cocaine trafficking charges.
