The South Carolina Highway patrol says that a driver was found dead over 12 hours after they were involved in a collision. The crash happened in Spartanburg County on Zion Hill Road, just south of Spartanburg.
The Highway Patrol says just one vehicle was involved in the wreck on Monday night around 8:40 PM. The driver was found well over 12 hours later, at around 10 AM Tuesday.
The accident report says the driver was crossing Zion Hill Road from a private drive, lost control went into a field , and hit a tree. The identity of the driver has not been released as of this time.
