South Carolina HP

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a driver was charged Tuesday morning after rear-ending an Upstate school bus. The Highway Patrol responded following a crash on Plantation Road in Anderson County, just after 7AM.

Troopers say a driver rear ended the school bus while it was stopped at a rail road track. Officials from Anderson County District 5 say that children from Nevitt Forest Elementary school were on the bus when it was rear ended. However, no injuries were reported.

The driver who has not been identified was arrested for driving with a suspended license and driving too fast for conditions.
