A weekend roof collapse caused commotion for a Greenville Church. Officials at Upstate Church Haywood on Laurens Road says structural issues were found, late Saturday night.
They moved chairs and equipment from that area of the building. The roof then collapsed, Sunday morning. Greenville City Firefighters noticed the collapse when driving by and responded around 9:30 AM, Sunday.
When crews arrived the building was empty, no injuries were reported in the incident.
