Staff Meteorologist Jennifer Wojcicki has the last for what to expect here in the Upstate for this weekend.
Her Noon Friday update is below
"Looks like the system this weekend has updated to an ice storm warning starting Saturday afternoon. Saturday starting to see sleet coming in probably around 2PM or so.
"That will continue through Saturday night with an accumulation of 1-2 inches of sleet possible. By Sunday another good chance of a mix of freezing rain and sleet for Sunday night. "
Governor McMaster has declared a state of emergency and the South Carolina National Guard says, " it is activating personnel and equipment for immediate deployment statewide with up to 14 vehicle recovery teams and mobilizing to assist civilians and authorities."
