As they prepare this year's budget the Greenville County Council is facing some tough decisions. The council held a budget workshop, Monday.
The proposed budget includes 40 million dollars in road improvements with no increases in tax millages. The Greenville County School District has said they could lose millions in the new budget.
The council says they are trying to meet the needs of the School District and fire departments around the county, without cuts to road improvements.
After a lengthy discussion the council agreed to phasing in the new budget.
