An Upstate woman is facing charges after being caught in a web of her own lies, again. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says 48 year old, Charla Webb is charged with identity fraud after she allegedly stole the identity of an elderly woman in an effort to steal from her.
Webb was arrested last year after the Sheriff's Office reported that she scammed an elderly woman out of more than $300,000. Webb was said to be posing as the victim's caregiver. Webb has initially been denied bond and is being held in Anderson County.
