A Greenville man is dead after a stabbing in Middle Tennessee, earlier this month. The stabbing happened October 18th in the town of Cookeville which is about 80 miles east of Nashville.
The Cookeville Police Department responded to a home and found a man suffering from stab wounds. He later died after being airlifted to a Nashville area hospital.
The victim has been identified as 40 year old, Shawn Torres of Greenville. Police say the suspect, a 40 year old woman was detained at the scene. However, no charges have been filed as of the time of this report.
