Protesting the potential for future plans, that was the case for a group who got together to oppose data centers coming into the Upstate. Protesters gathered in Spartanburg County over the weekend.

This comes after project spero scrapped the plans for multi-billion dollar data center there. The project was shelved by the company behind it, Tiger DC after the Spartanburg County Council voted it down.

The protestors believed that plan was the first of many to come and so they are speaking out to make their feelings known. The group marched down Magnolia Street after gathering at the Spartanburg County courthouse, Saturday morning.
