A hunter was injured by gunfire in Anderson County, Saturday. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is investigating after a person was struck by a bullet, while hunting.
Authorities say the bullet was not the type of round used by hunters and it was likely fired by someone for target practice. The hunter is expected to recover. SCDNR is still investigating to determine the origin of the gunfire.
