A Western North Carolina man will never see the light of day again after admitting to fatally stabbing a woman at a gas station there, last year.
The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office responded to the Shell Station on Sweeten Creek Road in Arden in July of last year. Court records say, The victim identified as Jodi Anderson, a manager at the Shell Station was found dead after she was stabbed over 20 times.
The suspect John Blodgett was arrested and has since pleaded guilty to charges of 1st degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapons.
Blodgett admitted to killing Anderson just weeks after she had fired him from his job at the store.
