One person is dead following a shooting in the Upstate Wednesday night. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says they responded to a shooting at a home in the 500 block of Emily Lane around 8 PM.
Upon arrival, deputies found the victim lying in the carport after being shot at least once, He was pronounced dead after being transported to an area hospital. The Sheriff's Office did not have any suspect information available as of the time of this report. Anyone with info on the shooting is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Of Greenville at 23-Crime.
