More details have been released after a body was found in the parking lot of an Upstate grocery store, early Wednesday morning.
As we previously reported, the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to Wise Buys Grocery on Whitney Road, around 3:30AM. Upon arrival one person was found dead.
The deceased has been identified as 31 year old, Dane Josephine Waddell. Officials say Waddell died after being ran over and dragged by a vehicle. No arrests have been announced in connection to the incident, as of this time.
