A suspect wanted in connection to a deadly Upstate shooting earlier this year is now back in custody in the Upstate. Police in Union say the suspect, Charles Mark Young, was apprehended in New York City in October.
He had been wanted for months, Young is accused of shooting Eric Johnson in Union back in July of this year. Johnson later died after being taken to Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
Young is charged with murder and a weapons violation. He has since been extradited back here to the Palmetto State to face trial.
