A standoff with SWAT officers in the Upstate ended without incident, Wednesday. Greenville County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home on West Magill Court just north of Greer, around 4:30PM. Deputies were there to serve a warrant on a suspect for domestic violence charges.
The suspect, 33 year old Samuel Victor McElrath was taken into custody after a standoff that lasted several hours. McElrath is charged with domestic violence and resisting arrest.
