The Norwegian women's beach handball team has been fined for wearing improper uniforms during the Euro 2021 tournament. Their infraction? Wearing shorts instead of bikini bottoms. According to the official rules, competitors must wear bottoms "with a close fit and cut on an upward angle toward the top of the leg" - even though the men's team is allowed to compete in tank tops and shorts. The decision is catching a major backlash from critics who feel the EHA rules are sexist. The Norwegian federation president called the fine "embarrassing". Singer Pink has offered to pay the fine for the team.
So we want to hear from you: Do you think the "bikini-bottom" uniform rule for women is sexist?
