Officials release 2025 Human Trafficking Report for SC

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, Chair of the South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force, released the 2025 Annual Report at the State House, Monday.

Wilson was joined by Task Force leadership, along with local, state, and federal law enforcement. In 2025, SLED investigated 315 tips that included over 300 potential victims with a majority of the tips investigated involving minors.

SLED’s data also showed that human trafficking investigations were in 41 of South Carolina's 46 counites.

Greenville County led the state with the most investigations at 35, followed by Berkeley and Charleston with 30 each, Richland with 28, Lexington at 27and 21 in Dorchester county.
