An Upstate police department is asking for the public's help in the search for the suspect vehicle in a hit and run, that left a pedestrian severely injured. The Simpsonville Police Department responded to the intersection of Fairview Road and Grandview Drive, just after 730 Wednesday night.
Upon arrival officers found a woman who had been hit by the vehicle. She was transported to an area hospital to be treated for life threatening injuries. Officers learned the driver of the suspect vehicle had fled the scene, however, they did discover video footage of the vehicle in a nearby area.
The vehicle is described as a mid-size SUV that is blue/green in color. They expect that it has front end damage from the collision. Anyone with info is asked to contact the Simpsonville PD at 864-967-9536 .
