The Highway Patrol reports another fatal collision involving a motorcycle in the Upstate. Trooper Joe Hovis says it happened on Wade Hampton Boulevard about 2 miles south of Greer yesterday (Wednesday) about 4:15PM.
A motorcyclist on a 2012 Suzuki rear ended a 2012 Nissan. The rider was throw into the path of a 2015 Freightliner tractor trailer. It is not known if the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
They were taken by EMS to Prisma Greenville hospital where they died of their injuries around 9:30PM. The driver and passenger in the Nissan were both seat belted but injured and taken by EMS to Prisma Greenville. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
