As we previously reported, Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis on the Tara Show Thursday said busloads of illegal immigrants are crossing South Carolina daily.
However, local local law enforcement in South Carolina have no legal authority to stop them. District 10 Representative Thomas Beach of Piedmont is proprosing legislation to that would change that.
Beach, a Freedom Caucus member, is also proposing legislation to permit deputies to make traffic stops and write traffic citations for motor carriers, similar to state transport police. Hear the full interview below.
