A South Carolina State Trooper was taken to a hospital after being hit by a vehicle, over the weekend. Senior Trooper Mitchell Williams Jr. was involved in a traffic stop on I-77 near Columbia around 12AM Sunday.
During the stop a truck with a trailer ran off the road and hit Williams in the median. Williams was taken to a hospital to be treated and was released Sunday afternoon.
