
A Walhalla man is in custody after allegedly kidnapping a woman and holding her at his residence for days. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says, 37 year old Thomas Gregory Lockridge Jr. held the victim at his home on Rocky Knoll Road in Walhalla between August 18th and August 21st.
Investigators say, the victim escaped the residence and arranged a ride, so she could flee the area. The woman suffered a fractured sternum after she was assaulted by the suspect. Lockridge is charged with kidnapping and aggravated domestic violence.
Lockridge has a criminal history that includes two prior convictions for domestic violence in the last 10 years.
