A Greenville man accused of robbing a loan company and a convenience store Monday night, also faces trial on kidnapping charges for pushing employees around at knifepoint. Greenville police say Deandre Nicholas Eaddy pulled the weapon on the manager of a title Max office on Laurens Road shortly before 7:00 PM and ran away with some cash. No getaway vehicle was seen.
While officers were investigating that holdup they got word that a Li'l Cricket store on Mauldin road had been robbed by a man matching Eaddy's description, and also at knifepoint. No details on the arrest have been released, but Eaddy is being held on two counts of armed robbery, kidnapping and possession of a knife in a violent crime.
