A man fresh off a prison bid is now facing charges for burglarizing an Upstate home, last year.
On Tuesday, the Oconee County Sheriff's Office arrested 38 year old, Brandon Scott Creel right after he had been released from Kirkland Correctional Institute.
Creel is charged with 1st degree burglary and petit larceny for his role in a burglary at a home in Oconee County in February of 2024. Another suspect 26 year old, Michael Anthony McCrary was arrested in June of last year for his role in the burglary.
Investigators say the two stole items from the home including a watch and guitar. Creel also has a warrant in Anderson County for failure to appear in court on drug charges.
