A suspect is in custody after two people were found dead at an Upstate home, late last week.
As we previously reported, the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded for a welfare check at a home on Evelyn Drive in the Mayo Community, just before 9PM Thursday.
Upon arrival, the charred bodies of two people were found. One of the victims has been identified as 76 year old, Patrick McAllister. The Coroner's Office is still working to determine the identity of the other victim, as of the time of this report.
The Sheriff's Office says 46 year old, Kevin Matthew McAllister has been arrested in connection to the incident. He's charged with murder and destruction of human remains.
McAllister is being held without bond in Spartanburg County.
