A suspected gang member has been arrested after a shooting at a weekend house party in Western North Carolina. As we previously reported, The Spindale Police Department responded to a reported shooting at a home on Oakland Road, just before 4AM Saturday.
Police say members of the "Get Shot Gang" or GSG are suspected in the shooting. One suspect, Lennox Pearson was taken into custody at his home in Ellenboro, Monday.
Pearson was already on probation in North Carolina. A search of his house uncovered what police said were a .300 Blackout AR pistol and a 9 millimeter pistol.
Pearson was arrested and is charged with 6 counts of assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon of mass destruction, shooting into a dwelling and felon in possession of a firearm.
