Technology company announces Upstate expansion

Investment of 37 million will create new regional fulfillment center in Spartanburg County

A technology company's expansion is expected to create over 200 new jobs in the Upstate. 203 to be exact according to Tuesday's announcement from Governor McMaster and the state Commerce Department, the personnel Ingram Micro will add to its Spartanburg County workforce to staff a 37 million dollar expansion.

A new regional fulfillment center or distribution hub at the company's Highway 221 campus in Roebuck, expects to make two million shipments a year, when it's up and running early next year. Ingram Micro markets high-tech production and supply chain systems and services to clients across the globe.
