A trio of suspects are facing gun and drug charges in Western North Carolina. The Asheville Police Department says, officers were investigating complaints of drug activity, and that Jami Lee Tressler and two others were arrested, Tuesday night.
Officers made contact with Tressler on Short Michigan Avenue around 10:45 PM and found her in possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and a large amount of cash.
A deeper investigation led to a search warrant for a home nearby , where officers found more drugs and several guns including one that had been reported stolen.
Two other suspects Irvin Freeman and Kara Ervin were at the residence at the time of the search. They were also taken into custody. Photos of Tressler and Freeman are below. The mugshot for Ervin was not available, as of the time of this report.
