Two people were arrested on drug charges in separate incidents in Western North Carolina, Monday evening. The Asheville Police Department served a warrant on a suspect named Stephanie Michelle Vosburg just before 6PM.
Police say Vosburg was found with drugs in her possession during her arrest. The 2nd incident happened after a traffic stop on State Street. A motorcycle was spotted going the wrong way prompting the stop.
A search of the motorcycle and the suspect Steven Lamar Rice Jr. uncovered drugs. Rice is charged with trafficking opiates, intent to distribute, a weapons violation and other crimes.
