Two people were killed and over a dozen in total were hit in a mass weekend shooting in Eastern North Carolina.
The Robeson County Sheriff's Office says, the shooting happened during a large party just outside of the town of Maxton which is about 40 miles south of Fayetteville.
The Sheriff's Office responded there just before 1:30AM, Saturday. Around 150 people reportedly fled the scene prior to deputies arrived. Two people were found dead at the scene, they've been identified as 49 year old Jessie Locklear Jr. and 16 year old Nehemiah Locklear of Lumberton were found dead at the scene.
Multiple other victims were taken to a hospital. Officials say 13 people in total were shot in the incident. No arrests have been announced, as of this time and the shooting remains under investigation.
