Two suspects are facing charges after a string of vehicle break-ins in Anderson County. The Honea Path Police Department says Jonathan Roosevelt Brown and Austin Gaines Owens were seen on security cameras trying to break into a house.
The two had previously been involved in a rash of vehicle break-ins in which debit and credit cards were stolen. Police say the two were later seen at a Spinx Store trying to use a stolen card. Brown and Owens were taken into custody on Tuesday.
They are both charged with multiple counts of larceny and breaking into a vehicle. Owens also faces a charge of financial card theft. Police say additional charges are pending.
