Upstate man accused of dragging woman by her hair

An Upstate man is facing charges after being accused of dragging a woman by her hair while she was holding a baby. The Spartanburg Police Department responded to a home on East Calhoun Crossing Court, just before 3PM Sunday.

Investigators say a woman told them that 29 year old, Trey Moore had grabbed her by her hair and pulled her from the couch to the floor, while she was holding a 7 month old child. The victim then got up and fled to a bedroom while holding the baby.

She said that Moore took the baby from her, placed it on the bed and started hitting her. He also allegedly choked her ad destroyed her phone when she tried calling 9-1-1. Moore is charged with 1st degree domestic violence and cruelty to a child.
